Hold My Own: Tied Down 2025

Holy My Own… if you love heavy, no-nonsense hardcore, look no further. This band has released songs featuring some of the most well-known names in hardcore, but their sound alone makes them stand out among the endless sea of bands trying to have the exact same impact. They yell, they scream, they grunt. They shred guitar, they make you want to dance, and they’ll make you want to punch your best friend in the face.

Holy Blade: Tied Down 2025

Holy Blade could easily be considered a hardcore supergroup. With members from God’s Hate, Freedom, Forced Order, True Love, and Cosmic Joke, this LA-outfit set out to be a little different than every one of their other projects. Colin Young (the multi-talented hardcore legend and co-host of the podcast HardLore) brings a little bit of his influence from his time as vocalist in Twitching Tongues, but you can tell the material written by the band so far is mainly influenced by the former Detroit resident, Alec Faber, who is the lead vocalist and plays guitar alongside Young.

Prize Horse: Tied Down 2025

Prize Horse will be the first band on the Tied Down 2025 lineup that no fights will break out during. They’re a three-piece out of Minneapolis, Minnesota who label themselves as “alternative rock” but I don’t think that does enough to describe how well this band rides the line of shoegaze and grunge while still maintaining that dreamy, indie-rock feel.
