D Bloc: Tied Down 2025

D Bloc has been around long enough to comfortably be crowned second heaviest active band in Detroit, only behind the legendary Never Ending Game. No member of this band is a stranger to Detroit hardcore, and they represent the scene proudly. Every D Bloc song delivers it’s own unique style of beatdown hardcore that gets the entire crowd moving.

These dudes are no stranger to Tied Down either. They played the festival the first two years, and then played the pre-show in 2024 with Ceremony and No Warning at The Magic Stick in Detroit. D Bloc has a hype surrounding them that they certainly can match, and anyone who has seen them live can confirm this. They bring a level of intensity that isn’t seen very often in hardcore. The lyrics and sound exhibited from D Bloc is that of a crew who has experienced struggle, pain, and betrayal, and that will be on display on stage at the Russell Industrial Complex during Tied Down 2025. Detroit will certainly show out for these local juggernauts, and I expect the hardcore tourists will be inclined to do the same.
